Steps to perform a refund on a Castles Technology card machine.
Please confirm there is the card machine is connected to a valid Internet connection and there are the required funds in your Cashflows Merchant Account. This can be checked via your Cashflows MI Portal.
After this has been confirmed, please follow the steps below:
- Press the yellow button on your terminal to go to the Transaction Menu.
- Scroll the menu down using
and up

- Navigate to Start refund and press OK.
- Enter the payment terminal’s Manager Passcode, followed by the amount
for the refund. - When prompted, ask the customer to insert, tap, or swipe their card. The transaction will complete, and the merchant copy receipt will be printed.
- If required, ask the customer to sign the receipt and return it to you.
- Press OK to print the customer’s receipt. Give this to customer.
